I'm at a very conflicted point in my life, what some of you may refer to as a "quarter-life crisis" (or something like that, lol). For the past few days I've been continually having feelings of anxiety, inadequacy, and generally just not feeling great about myself. What's ironic is I have a lot going well for me right now, just having started a new remote job that has been paying well & treating me like family. For a minute I was feeling as stress-free as ever, like I finally found a workplace I belong. However, there have been negative emotions swirling around my head for these past few days, as I'm finding myself more irritable than usual, and very easily getting jealous. This is nothing new for me, but it feels different now than it did before. I really don't have a good reason to be feeling this type of way, as I truly have the whole world at my fingertips. So, why not make the most of it?
That being said, I figure I will convert this negative energy into something positive. Starting November 1st, I am going to spend each day of the month improving myself at least a little bit. Whether it be exercise, engaging in some sort of social activity, learning to cook a new meal, or even just having someone acknowledge that I've made their day just a little better, every day counts! I'm done with making excuses for myself as to why things aren't supposedly "going better for me." I'm no longer going to have that defeated mentality; I know I can become an absolute beast if I put my mind to it. I also plan on making a few small adjustments to my sona, as I want him to be more like how I am in real life (which is an inch taller if you can believe, and a hair lighter in weight, but soon to be just as muscular! Haha). I will be logging my progress in my journal entries here, although I may end up making them weekly entries depending on how much I end up writing each day.
