The state of my art... and life.

So, I haven't posted anything in a while.
Many are shocked. I know, I've shed a tear or two myself.
...yet know thee, all two people I guesstimate whom will bother to read this, there are reasons for my sad absenses.
Firstly, I GOT A JOB. I ACTUALLY GOT A BLOODY JOB.
Shocking, yes. Unexpected, probably. Positive... go on then, yes. I can finally clear my debts and live with a tad less fear in my life. Plus there's that whole pride/self-esteem blah-blah. Anyways. Yes, I'll have less free time to waste from now on. Not that I used it productively in the first place, but I enjoyed it.
Secondly, my scanner is dead. It not work no more. Therefore, I can't scan the erm... reams and reams of material showing my inexorable progess towards excellence (trans. couple of pictures that I'm pleased to have gotten done.)
So there you are.

I got a job at Client Logic in Balliol Business Park in Longbenton. Not so far from the Revenue as it happens. CL is a company that does customer service for other companies, so there's a section for BT, a section for National Rail Enquiries etc. etc. So, it's dealing with irate people on the phone no doubt but I couldn't care less. It's a six pound an hour job when I was beginning to think that I was unemployable. z: )

Cheers dude and hopefully yes, I will get myself a new scanner. Hopefully one that will actually make my pictures look as good as they do on paper at that, rather than even worse than they are. z: )
Thankyou... I think I really needed it. Financially and as a means of getting some discipline back in my life. It's been a monster of a shock to my system, after so long doing more or less as I liked... and that also works well as a means to an end - which is getting me back into doing something with my life.
So, I can't particularly say I'm enjoying it, but it's given me back my drive. I will clear my debts. I will get back to University. I will renew my creative works, particularly my writing. I owe all of that to this job. I'm therefore quite grateful for the opportunity.
