xbox 360 became 'retro' (at least on the internet) when it hit 15 years old. So PS3 is most likely the same. I worry for my 360's save files, the system clock only goes up to 2025.

Oh man if I lost my save data or DLC I purchased, I'll be pissed.

I don't have internet, so I don't have any downloaded DLC, I'm just worried about the filing system. Those dates and timestamps are kind of important for knowing which saves are old or not, especially in the few times I've had saves corrupt or cause death loops.

Don't ask me. Last console I played with any regularity was a Colecovision with an Atari 2600 adapter!

I used to have one of those, It was like my first system.
I played Burgertime till my thumb was so sore I couldn't pick up things lol.

Yes.. I have five XBox360's, two of which work well, two of which have issues, and one 'Red Ring Of Death'. I also have a ps3 that fails it's POST. As I was given these, or found them at surplus/thrift stores.. Yep, they are retro.. :)

mostly we play 'Sega All Star Racing Transformed', and the Halo Titles, but we also have Kinect titles and three of the sensors, good for getting exercise indoors. Oh, and the Beatles version of Rock Band.. But I only know where one of the guitar controllers is at.

I love Beatles Rock-Band, and so many classic games I refuse to part with. I have a spare 360 on a shelf I got for cheap it works so hopefully I'll be playing for some time on.

I have 2 360s... one survived the fire. My One needs seviced... it gets a blue screen on startup.

my PS3 only has Skyrim so I havn't turned it on much but still keeping it.

I was a 360 nut back in the day so most of my purchases were aimed at it, however later on I started gathering PS3 games and such many of which I have yet to play.

PS4 and XBone are soon to follow it seems now that the new systems are out.
I don't see a need for them yet however, only 1 or 2 games seem good to me but not worth that insane price tag.

I just use my PC, me.

I have a gaming PC as well but have tons of games for Consoles I picked up cheap but have never played just like when a Steam Sale happens. I swear almost half my library I've never played lol

Labels are weird. Online in the late 1990s and very-early 2000s, the 8- and 16-bit generation and their fans were sort of their own entity / in their own limbo... ROMs were especially easy to find and download, though. Those who called themselves "retro gamers" at the time, on the other hand, they had a tendency to be vocally anti-Japanese and pro-anything_before_the_crash. (In a pretentious-prick-ish manner, mind, as opposed to our jocular and old-skool Nipponophile major, here.) I think they just got outgrown / made irrelevant by the time the PS2 and GameCube and such came out.
Since labels are weird, I wouldn't mind either way, too-too much
