Well what I have in mind is kinda like.... a dnd 3d system. Nothing too complex or in depth, no animations beyond general sprite movement and projectiles/spells, if that makes sense

Then TBH, Unity's probably a better fit: A 3D engine starts to get unwieldy very quickly, especially if you want to add in physics to whatever you have planned for it.
