Ustream?

how do you get it to show your desktop and not a webcam? i keep clicking the Video Source button but there is nothing there since i don't even have webcam hooked up.

On the Mac, there's only one choice, and it's called CamTwist. If you have MacOS X Snow Leopard (raises hand) you'll need version 2.1 and you must open Ustream using Firefox and not Safari.
In Linux, there is no native solution yet. What I've done is run x11vnc on my main screen, and have my iMac running CamTwist capture the output from Jolly's VNC.
