Yes, which is why trying to make change is hard and important.

This is why I have absolutely no faith in the human race. These poor guys are finding themselves trapped in plastic bags and attached to six-pack rings and it's all our fault. Our own wrongdoing.

And yet it is humans who are doing all they can to save them and change the way we work with plastics. That is whole point of #TeamSeas is to build awareness and show there are things we can do, such as building machines to catch the waste from rivers before it enters the ocean, changing laws, and helping other countries build better waste disposal infrastructure.

While humanity is capable of great ignorance there are those who are capable of great good, because if we weren't we'd have died off a long time ago.

At least these people are doing their best to save the planet and undo the sins of their own kind, and that's what really should matter, isn't it?

I think humanity in general is good, but we are also not really able to process all the world's problems because we evolved to really care more about our immediate area.
