I said a while back I would write short stories related to my art, except I kinda didn't.
Should I just go ahead and write stories and update the submissions that way, or should I just make a separate submission for the ones I already made?

I think it would be better to add them in the submissions and make a journal showing where the stories were added too

Unless you plan on notifying us of the updated submissions I'd suggest the latter.

While I think the former (updating the comms with the story) would lead to a more neat and organized gallery, the latter would probably be a lot better for visibilities even if you make a journal notifying of edits.
