It's been a long time since I made a journal, or posted something online in general. 2020 was a difficult year for everyone, me included, and I had to step away from social media completely and take care of myself. I can say for sure reducing my usage of social media was the best thing I did and the results are amazing. A quiet and sparse online life is ideal, I don't want to go back to how it was for me ever again. I'm not fully back yet and I'm not sure I will ever be, but there will be a new pic every now and then. ^^
I feel a strengthened relationship with my art, and my love and passion for it has only grown stronger. I learned to draw for myself again, instead of worrying about numbers and pleasing a crowd that doesn't fit me, for things such as likes and reblogs. I healed many scars, including the ones caused by my previous webcomic. I thought I hated doing comics, but no, it was that I couldn't stand working the way I did before. I picked up comics again and have been doing it in a different way, which feels completely new and very pleasant. I've been extremely productive art-wise, although I am sharing new work only on my SubscribeStar and Patreon. But some backlog pics will be dropped here. :)
I also, finally, changed my username. I did not like the old one and it didn't reflect the person I am now. New username for the new person I've become. From now on, you'll find me as AmaDenchArt.
Unfortunately, name changes are not available on FA so I'll have to stay like this until they enable it, as I don't want to make a new account.
Speaking of accounts, I drastically reduced the amount of places I visit online, so now, when I post art, it will be only in the following places:
FurAffinity
Instagram
Tumblr
I DO NOT use Twitter, Deviantart, Weasyl, or anything else. My accounts in those places still exist, but will remain inactive.
And one last note: I have no plans of picking up Blade Under Mask again, so please stop asking me about it. Comments that insist on this subject will be hidden.

I'm currently working on a cute comic featuring the twins in their childhood, slice of life that will dive a bit into their story in general and showcase the culture of their clan!
Sentir que está perdendo a paixão pela própria Arte, perder a habilidade de desenhar pra si mesmo, viver em função de agradar o público, assombrado constantemente pelo fantasma da monetização.
Já foi tópico de muita sessão de terapia pra mim, esse "vício" de não conseguir fazer um sketch sem já escalar aquilo pra um projeto enorme e monetizável que no final vou acabar odiando.
(E se eu pudesse viver completamente sem precisar manter uma personalidade digital, apenas cercado de pessoas próximas, troca quantidade por qualidade seria uma escolha fácil pra mim)
Se tiver a receita de como se reconciliar, quero muito!

Eu não sei bem direito o que eu fiz, acho que só continuei seguindo em frente. As coisas só melhoraram mesmo quando eu voltei aos meus remédios, mas ai com a ajuda dos remédios eu consegui fazer modificações na minha vida! Agora tô no processo de parar de tomar.
E nossa, meu sonho não precisar mais dividir minha arte com ninguém, só com os mais próximos. Acho que é um dilema que quase todos que seguem a carreira artística passam. Já pensei até em arranjar um emprego "normal" pra não precisar mais monetizar a arte... mas sei lá, complicado. S:
