Avian Pokemoms: eggs or live young?

I may be doing another idea soonish. And it may also involve a feathered hottie that gasp! isn't Aromatisse!
And to that end, should this one be involving the hard-shelled eggs, or should it involve live young birthed as is?
Yes I know I did live young for Aromatisse(and most of my stories); this is something else that's putting me between authenticity and what I like, involving another winged wonder womb.

Surprisingly neck and neck for this, however I feel it is one of three ways:
1) live young/viviparous. What I prefer/the majority of my stories here, avian authenticity or not.
2) eggs/oviparous. What would achieve avian authenticity here.
*3)* middle ground. The young could still be inside the eggs, which would be inside the mother's body, close to hatching and can still wobble. When the eggs are expelled, the eggs hatch mere moments later.
Ultimately this is still my decision to make alone, but I'm still pleased by the responses and how back-and-forth it is.

Kinda cheating, but maybe eggs that don't harden until close to birth? Allows for visible fetal movement while also ending on oviposition, which I prefer

I also considered this, like eggs inside the body but the actual baby still wobbling, and the egg hatches mere moments of being ejected. Kinda combines both aspects, but still primarily about the eggs.

Definitely in favor of live young for them. Eggs are, in my opinion, not as engaging. Especially when fetal movement and stuff is considered.

Eggs over live birth. Because eggs can be utilized as a joint engagement for both parents from a care taking front. Say the father is taking care of the nest while the mother is away. Well he can experience egg rattles- the egg equivalent of kicking- which normally is exclusive to the mother in traditional live birth. So eggs can provide a much more unique approach.

I think you should go for live young, it’s something you like, and it’s an interesting concept that not many people explore. And you do it very well!

Eggs.
I would recommend live young! Authenticity is overrated, and nothing compares to feeling the growing litter thrashing around inside moments before birth. If you *need* to rationalize it, you could have them boogie down with a mammal like in your Weavile x Aromatisse story, and say that the mammal DNA warrants a live birth. Otherwise, though, I'd recommend going with what you like!
