Steam hack: I am so sorry

I slept in today and woke up to my steam being hacked and disgusting cp sent to all my friends. I am immensely sorry, I had no idea that happened and I am thoroughly disgusted as much a everyone else is. I think it goes without saying but I don't like that garbage whatsoever. This hacker has in the past weaponized this stuff to attack me and a friend of mine, but he hadn't used Steam to attack people before. Thankfully my friends list is small on there so not many people were hit
Ive asked Steam for help and in the meantime, fuck Im so sorry. These hackers are really trying to get a reaction so I ask everyone to stay calm
Ill do my best to keep in contact with Steam Support. I don't really know how to handle this kind of thing and would welcome any and all advice in catching these hackers at this poiny considering what they have ahold of

We were talking prior late that night and even planned to do things but I got so into FE: Fates Birthright that I passed out from how much I was playing and forgot to get back to you
