I hope all goes well with your cat, as a cat owner myself with a positive feline leukemia cat, it can be transmitted directly from the mother and stay inactive for years and not show symptoms like mine. In rare occasions it can turn active but thankfully it was all a misunderstanding from your first vet diagnosis, I shall pray for you and your furry companion.

I am actually really disappointed with the vets and vet clinics in my city. And don't know what to do and who is right. Last year my cat was diagnosed with nose cancer, he had a wound. I even started to give him some special treatment(not chemo), because I believed every word the vet said and I thought I did everything right to save my cat. but then my husband decided to double-check the diagnosis in another vet and it was just a scratch with a side infection in it. That's all. I can't describe how I felt. Now, I feel the same. The cat was diagnosed with something bad, I believed and it's again not what we thinking. And again I need to double-check or triple-check everything before giving antibiotics or any other meds to my cat.
