Yet another medical update
General
I got a response regarding the medical bill. I was offered two things. The first was them lowering the 'payment plan' option from $250 a month to $180. This, unfortunately, was still out of my budget range. The other thing they did for me, though, which, at this point, is my only hope, is that they sent me a Hardship application. Basically, I'll fill that out and send it in, and, based on what they decide, from what I provide, my debt could be reduced or eliminated. This is the one thing I'm REALLY hoping works out. I've talked with my housemates and an agreement between us has been reached regarding my share of household stuff (rent/bills etc) if this doesn't pan out, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed here.
I'm fighting, guys. I really am... But I'm freaking out.

It's cases like yours that make me wonder why we don't have a kind of national health care system the way other countries do. *sigh* Best of luck to you my friend!

Thank you, Baar. I'm doing my best to figure this out. Hopefully, I can find a solution.
I can see them going for a reduced amount or if they absolutely had to, eliminate the debt. I do see this working out. 'hug' 'hug'

I sure hope so, David. I really do.

A partial amount paid will be seen as better then getting nothing at all surely. Just thinking logically about all this. 'hug'
