I don't know if people read my blogs or not but my mom doesn't have to look at my "baggy ass" she hates anymore...
Apparently My mom took out a 300 dollar credit with me and dropped 400 dollars on a few new pairs of pants with some accessories for me (in my new size of 48x30) Ive gained a bit in the past 3 months and have to be careful as I was 46 waist in late October though. She went online for the first time and snagged some 60% off deals on them I guess...
She paid half for a Christmas gift but I owe her over 300 dollars for my new clothes and some loaned Christmas presents for the two grand-kids (from what its looking like). The register is still running on the "credit" as there is no final total I gotta pay back (this is what puts people into bankruptcy).
Ill be paying for them for the rest of the year in small amounts. So my whole plan for next year has just been dynamited. I didn't really need them but somehow my mom decided for me on how I am to spend my money --because she didn't like my clothes and is tired of me relying on them for it (as Xmas presents maybe, but Ive never asked for them to buy me stuff -- though they do). Its rude to refuse a gift and they fit well; but... yeah...
I had 130CAD coming to me in January that I would have put to clothes (and then 50 a month for a few months for maybe padding, art or some housewares I wanted on my amazon list) but with my new burden who knows when Ill ever cub out or commission again.
Plus I wanted that 5LB bag of gummy bears too x.x
It is what it is I guess...

My mom tends to do this with me. She screams tough love but when I make sacrifices (like a couple of holes in a few older t-shirts, really baggy pants, or no gifts for birthdays and holidays) and really start to outwardly show that I'm in severe poverty (and 1200 a month is pretty much destitute here--though I'm one of the lucky ones) I get a guilt trip that she fed and clothed 3 people on 300 a month 20 years ago and I'm being greedy when I say I cant afford to do things like she did. (I wont get into poverty trauma that causes but people gotta survive I guess)
She offered to take them back in a guilt trip but I had enough arguing about it. Its why I'm gonna follow through the agreement. I don't need any one else around her looking down on me or taking my right to self-determination away because 'I'm not spending my money right'.
I'm lucky though because new market rate units in this building for what I have is over 850CAD plus utilities
Other than that I get no assistance at all.
Canada really doesn't have a "Section 8" housing system like the US does we tend to do it piecemeal through individual agencies and charities, Likewise with "food stamps".
Sadly, I've looked but thrift stores only top out around 38 and I maybe found ONE 44 a few years back that was ripped. Like I said in the fournal, I'm a 48 right now so yeah (with a 30 length which is what that code means).
WalMart tops off at 44 but its rare so you have to usually go online here for 'Big and Tall' sizes and I guess Amazon wasn't good enough for her so she went to Old Navy (which ill never go to). I paid about 35-45 per name brand pants that I have now off amazon. They were size 52 a few years back. My current 3 pairs are really nice but they are just too big right now according to her.
Id hate to see what getting shorts is gonna be like in the summer.
I didn't even know Old Navy stocked sizes that high though either. O.O!!!
