For now I would recommend staying with the default addons as you learn. It will get too complex too fast if you try addons for now.

Retopoflow for example. There's also a few city addons. Also sculpting is fun. There's a bunch of stuff I can't remember RN but you won't regret the change (For personal projects haha)
