Taking more time on art

I feel like my latest pic ( https://www.furaffinity.net/view/44946928/ ) actually came out pretty good and I think know why...
Its cuz I finally took time on it lol. The VAST majority of my pics are like 30 mins to 1 hour tops due to me just becoming way too bored and lazy with lineart.
I know this pic is FAR from perfect but I kinda like how it came out and I'm happy I for once spent some hours on it rather than just basically go from sketch to finished.
Honestly very self-indulgent little journal but just happy! I've got a looooooong way to go but I wanna build up my patience for more serious, involved, weird fat art!! >:D
(dont get me wrong though, I'll do more soft painterly stuff, just gotta work on lines a bit!)
