This feels like every journal title I make that isn't about commissions.
Anyway. Let's go over a rundown of things.
Haven't been super active on here or Weasyl... just I dunno. Twitter (ew) and other social platforms steal most of attention for this sort of thing. Honestly kinda feels like a lot of my more chatty fanbase is in the same boat. I peek in for comments, browse some art and then poof again.

-Back in Canada, enjoying some west coast living.
-Vaccinated, as I hope you are too. Seriously. Fucking go get vaccinated for Covid and the Flu.
-My bird, Pemka, is doing quite well!
-Hoping to look into getting to cons in the later half of 2022 assuming the whole pandemic issue actually continues to improve.
-I do a podcast now? Consider this literally the only time I'll ever plug it on here outside of posting art I made for it: https://twitter.com/HorseIsekai
Uh, been getting into TTRPGs a lot lately. Talking with two different folks re:artwork in printed books. Working on my own game (I mean it's a hack but hey, you wanna be a depressed Isekai protagonist? I've got the game for you once I'm done)
We did KorpsCon3, a few months back. $21,000 CAD raised. Not bad for a weekend with some villains!
Also sharkweek, aka that week I got really burned out on drawing shark tits was $400 USD to charity (1/3 of what I made. The rest went to rent and bills. Look, money's rough.)
Anyway uh. Yeah.
I do art streams. I announce them on twitter. Posting and deleting the post later on here was a lot of work for very little noticeable change.

Glad youre doing good! Still amazed into what the korps has grown into, 21000 is a huge number for donations! congrats! Ive gotten some art from Karen years ago for what i would now consider way too little and thats where my involvement with the korps kinda ended. well except seeing all the art that does get posted on FA. I probably miss a lot of stuff thats twitter only but i find it really hard to look for art on twitter. Artposts get drowned out by retweets and normal tweets and theres no easy way to just see the art most of the time. the media tab is of little help since it gets also filled with retweets and memes. Anyway enough rambles about the birdsite. its good youre doing good <3

I mean, I spent some time in Florida. So it's nice to not be boiling (and the rain is rather light here)

Yeah that's definitely a plus. My gf is from El past, Texas and they are loving the much cooler summers. Though they hate how cold it is here even though to me it's just nice and cool out. Lol

grew up in Ontario, it's milder here just cold enough to be cold, but only a little uncomfortably warm in summer

Not sure where you are in BC, but I can say that Victoria usually has the perfect heat for summers than compared to the mainland. :3
