post-semester and how parks ych update! (important)

Howdy, everyone!
I apologize for being inactive for so long, this past college semester was way more demanding and stressful than I initially planned. Now it's Christmas break, which means I can finally focus most of my energy into art again!
For the How parks ych:
I've been debating with myself on what to do with the massive how parks series I began at the beginning of the school year. To put it simply, I may have bitten off more than I can chew.
I'm not sure if I have enough time to finish this project over Christmas break - and if I'm unable to do so, assuming that next semester is as busy as this one, then I may not get time to work on it again until summer next year.
I'm also worried about burnout from working on only the ych idea during Christmas break - especially if it means being unable to do anything for the holidays. There's also being closed for commissions until the ych is done - I'm hesitant with being unable to take any commissions until next summer - that's a very long time.
So with all that being said, there's 3 possibilities:
- Canceling it outright:
I'd finish the ones in progress and who already paid, but cancel the rest. If this happens, I may redesign the ych and offer them one by one, taking lessons from here and spreading them out over time for a more manageable project.
- Spreading them out:
If you're willing to wait, I could spread out the ych sheets between commissions and other art, and between Christmas and Summer break.
- Trimming them down:
I've promised a lot of extras on a lot of the ychs (for example, all the additional sketches/scenes here https://www.furaffinity.net/view/43089263/), which add a ton of time on every project. The buyer and I could renegotiate and trim down a slot with extras to a more manageable level, in exchange for a reduced final cost.

With all that said, I really, deeply apologize for any trouble I've caused or am causing regarding this ych. I've always had a tendency to be impulsive and promise more than I should, and while usually it's been manageable, This time I think I've finally dug a deeper hole than I can get out of - I may have to just admit defeat on this one. It's my fault, and I'm sorry.
I have definitely learned some lessons from this:
- don't do more than one ych page at a time
- don't start a massive project right before school starts
I do plan on finishing any of the ych pages currently in progress, and anyone who's already paid for theirs. Feel free to remind me if you've done so!
I am also still fully planning on building and developing the theme of How parks. Feel free to ask for themed art commissions if you're interested in one!
One more caveat I would like to add is that this is largely speculative - I won't be working at a job this break, so doing art is going to be my main source of income during this time. It will be hard to say anything definitive until I can get a better idea of how much art I'll actually be able to do reasonably over the course of break, while balancing mental health and time with family.
With that being said, I'm sorry for failing your trust. I hope to do better in the future.
