Anyone getting spammed by art requests?

Is it just the holiday season or something? :C I barely have enough time and energy for my own work and personal projects let alone making free stuff for others.
Just been getting a lot of private DM's and messages begging for art last month or two and wondering if anyone else having this issue too?
I do host a ton of art giveaways on my Cloverse Discord Server. We give away artwork, adoptables, and myo slots for closed species... so... if you're looking for free content, check out the discord! That will have a giveaway every weekend. c:

I wonder how many people these days are confused about terminology, ever since Pixiv launched their "Request" feature (which is actually more of a paid commission system, except since it's mostly fan art based it's features are designed around pooling funds from multiple fans).

I haven’t really been asked on FA for a while not? Most requests I get are on weasly. Though I can only guess why you are getting more is probably popularity based? It always seems that with more followers comes more people who don’t/can’t read haha.
I get maybe one a week while streaming but otherwise it's pretty quiet. I dunno why you're gettin' bothered so much! ):

Nothing like that here, really, but that's probably because I've become somewhat of a ghost here over the last year and a half. Honestly, I'd say it's just because people love your art so much! Doesn't mean they necessarily should be asking for freebies (we gotta eat too, and most freelance artists stay super busy with work! ;w;), but as someone else already said, there are always gonna be people who don't/can't read. Best wishes, though. Hope you're having a good holiday season so far! ♥
