Today marks 1 year since my family arrived in Barstow, and I'm honestly surprised how short it feels like it was. I'm just glad we're safe with a roof over our heads, safe places to sleep, and reliable enough income for food. I cannot relay the absolute HELL it was being homeless, and I'm glad that we can push that part of our lives away.
