Remember the good times when you think about Strike. He'd want you to have the fond memories and remember the good times.

I know how it feels to lose a friend, a pet. Not long ago I lost a dog that had it since I was 10 years old, I still remember what it was like to spend time with him and it gives me some guilt for not being able to give him more attention and play with him. It hurts to remember him but at least he's in a better place.

The strike may be gone he will never be forgotten by you and vice-versa. You loved him very much as he loved you and that's the important thing you gave him the best life your could and loved him like a best friend as well as family. Cherish those memories as you look back from the good times.
