Recently, my friend has informed me of some trouble regarding someone close to them. I won’t name names for safety, but the close person has faced an accusation of tracing, based on a pic they made that looks similar to someone else’s art. It should be noted the pic being accused was made quickly as a gift for someone else, unaware that it would be posted publicly.

The person making the accusation has made a whole song and dance of it, and is trying to turn it into a campaign against the close person. This campaign has even included accusing the close person of being a pedo, without providing evidence, when the original accusation had nothing to do with that.
