Here we are again
So, here we are again – at next year's doorstep.
Before you turn the handle and enter, though, you look back once more and reflect on the things which moved and changed you.
And you might realize that this year was an enormous mixed bag of events, for better or for worse, which feel like everything went too fast and not moving at all – both at once.
I don't know yet how you feel about this year. But in my perception and experience, 2021 felt like a perpetual train ride without any stops but with newly arriving passengers on board. And the view is changing but the feeling isn't. And you take in all new impressions and events but remain seated, stoically, like everyone else.
Reflecting back on this year, I made a truly gargantuan amount of progress with everything I'm working for. But where personal success and riches fill one side of my heart, the experience of losing my father feels equally as much, thus leaving the other side of my heart empty.
But knowing that acceptance and good memories are the best healing factors, I feel that I now have more room in my heart for new things to prosper. And I learned a great new deal about myself, knowing that I do have the energy and time for others, especially my family and friends, to be an active part of my life.
I do tend to bury my head into work and forget everything around me. While this is great for my ongoing project, Myre, I learned to be there for everyone who enables and supports me and my efforts.
We're all in a big time of change within which the flip of a number doesn't matter much. What might matter more, in my opinion, is how we tackle new challenges and perceive our surroundings so that we can move on and be more proud of our achievements – no matter how small they might appear to you.
So it's not about seeing a change of date and feeling happy to be done with this year. Instead of wishing you a happy new year, I would love to ask you how you feel, what you achieved and what you feel grateful for.
So, how do you feel?
Because one thing I've learned this year is:
This year had many of us bury our feelings and had many of us feel numb, regardless of progress.
It's not your fault. Believe me when I tell you it feels good to find out about the things you achieved. They're like little gems you may buried under along the perpetual train ride.
With these thoughts, I'll leave you to turn the handle and enter the next chapter.
Much love, and thank you for being here. <3

Feeling? Kinda a "just glad to be done with and move on" feeling atm. It's in a good way though.
PS: How do I feel? Well?🤔 I've experienced something in May, which you need to read when you have time! https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9880311/
I hope it will be better in the next year!
I also learned new things from the field of psychology
And this year has been a very long for me
der resist alles – alles mit im Flug
da halt ihn nichts mehr fest
wenn er das gleis verlässt
We must hold onto the good and learn from the less-than-admirable events. Never let the monotony and negative people change your view when you enter into the new year. There are many people who choose to immerse themselves in bitterness promoted by media.
We must avoid them and look to the good things in our life with a measure of gratitude rather than being like so many who choose to see only the shitty part of life and want all their peers to feel the same. Hold strong and hopefully this new year works out much better for you!

So yeah, 2021 can kiss my butt.
(Have gone through a lote worse than this within the last decade at least)
The pandemic, aweful as it's been for a lot of people, and in a lot of ways, has also had some silver-linings and presented opporunities for changed and developement in a direct that feels pretty good for work/illustration concerned things :)
Been luck, and trying to make the most of that ♥
I hope your 2022 and beyond is looking bright and inviting also 'Fencer ^_^ look forwards, always, to your wonderful works
however. Love to all of you. Stay safe and try to life so you will not regret having hurt anyone and cherish those you dear.
I also found out that some people simply do not change as time and distance progresses. However, their negative choices continue affect them, whereas distance from them still remains a great ally.
2021 was a mixed grab bag of a year on my end.
I am sorry about what happened to your father. My only wish for 2021 was that it soften itself around you, and allowed you time to grieve, develop, and to be inspired.
Love the ones that you are with, and continue to love the ones that went on ahead of you. Not everyone finishes the race of Life together, but we do catch up.
