A question about stories

So here's a question. I probably won't do any writing for a few months (Only generally do it if I have time off work due to a holiday or vacation week), but was trying to do stories in pre-existing fictional universes for the past 2 stories.
Is there any specific universe that people who read these particularly would want to see utilized for a story?

They aren't be much than commissioned works
I might try and do more sequels to some of the stories I've done so far, but I'll need to try and plot out an idea for continuing it as far as plots go.
