Greetings Mortals THE GOOD:
Godzilla vs Kong
I personally liked King of the Monsters better, but I can't deny that this crossover made me very excited. If only they had worked the script a little better.
The Suicide Squad
I'm an adult and I want to have fun with a good Rated R comic movie. My prayers were answered.
He-man and the masters of the universe (CGI series)
The biggest surprise of the year. The series that was supposed to be for children, ended up being much more in-depth and fun than... the other show.
Sonic Movie 2 Trailer
It was only a trailer, but it was enough to revive my excitement for some blue hedgehog product. One of the movies that I look forward to the most next year.
Aggretsuko Season 4
It felt less fun and exciting than the previous season, but I'm satisfied with the end result.
THE BAD:
Masters of the Universe Revelation
The biggest scam of the year. Nice animation but with terrible writing. It's only achievement has been dividing fans and tainting the franchise. I wish it had never happened.
Raya and the Last Dragon
The worst Disney animated movie of this year. Boring, full of clichés and loaded with an agenda. I almost forgot its existence because of how forgettable it is.
Resident Evil Welcome to Racoon City
Another scam of adaptation. Low budget, bad cast, bad writing. It's amazing that Milla's movies are more fun than this abomination.
THE UGLY:
Space Jam a New Legacy
It's not the worst of the year, but I wasn't expecting much from this "HBO commercial" either. The first was not a work of art either, but I feel like it had more charisma and better 2D animation.
Venom Let There Be Carnage
I feel like this movie was ruined on purpose. Wasted potential. I can't believe Carnage had less development than Riot from the first movie.
Home Sweet Alone
A sequel that no one asked for. A formula that no longer works. It would even fail in the time of the original. Why did I even bother to see it?
THE MEH:
My Little Pony: New Generation Movie
I don't know why I expected more from this movie. It fulfills its function of entertaining, but leaves too many plot gaps. If that doesn't bother you, you will enjoy it.
Sonic Frontiers Teaser
Sorry SEGA, but I still haven't gotten over the Forces disappointment. I will not make the same mistake again. Even Ian Flynn as a writer doesn't excite me.
