Last year, we only had snow for about two days, then it was gone. We've now had it for about a week, and, last night, around 8:30 pm, it knocked out the power. As of this journal, we've discovered that the earliest it will be back on is sometime late tonight, but most likely not until sometime either tomorrow or the following day, because several power lines were taken out.

Henry, Steve and I are all fine, and we're starting bundled up as best we can. There is a fireplace in the house, but it isn't up to code and is unsafe to use.

Here's hoping we'll be back to normal soon.
