Just Got Covid Recently

I tested positive for covid recently on Monday and I'm sick. Probably the Omicron variant that's been spreading around a lot lately. I've been following everything that I've been supposed to do like wearing my mask and washing hands consistently but somehow it finally caught up to me and I contracted it. Way to start the New Year lol!
Thankfully I'm fully vaccinated so all I dealt with were mild symptoms similar to the flu. A 100° fever and night sweats and chills for the first two days and a throbbing unbearable headache and loss of appetite which was a pain in the ass but those are finally over with. Now all I'm dealing with now is a sinus and congestion and I can't smell anything. I'm also at a loss of energy and can't really do much except eat, sleep, and watch some movies but that's about it. Haven't dealt with loss of taste and no breathing problems. I've been taking a lot of supplements like vitamin C and zinc as well as doing natural remedies and putting elderberry in grape juice to help my immune system recover properly which has helped greatly.
I really want to go back and draw and work more on adding more products in my store but I don't have a lot of energy to do so. This sucks big time but at least I'm lucky to not be in the hospital and dying so I'm very happy about that. Once I test negative and I'm no longer dealing with symptoms I will get right back on continuing to work on my art and posting products. Here's to hoping I beat this nasty covid virus soon and I'm able to gain my strength and health back again.

My hubby and I currently have Covid as well, same exact boat as we are both vaccinated, I hope you feel better and stay safe - it's been really bad here in Ohio... take it easy *virtual hugs* ;.=.;

Yes, it's really bad right now in Ohio with this varient. It's just spreading around like wildfire. 😬 I will, thank you and to you both as well.

Darn, that sucks so much-even with a good defense! I do hope that you will regain your energy soon and be better.
It does a lot, it's like a big monstrous vampire sucking the energy out of you. I'll be alright, it's just going to take a while before I gain my energy back again to be able to go back to my normal routine again. Let's just hope I don't get postlong covid issues afterwards.
