Happy New Year and other things
Yeah I realize I'm a week and some off but maybe for some of you it's not too far back that you can't remember it. As for me I moved on Christmas Eve from somewhere that I've spent quite a long time living near the beach to a more populated and active area than before.
Moving is a lot of work, there's sticking everything in boxes, moving said boxes and then there's finding where everything's been stuck afterwards. I'd like to keep moving down to a minimum if possible but perhaps I'm preaching to the choir here.
And while this isn't a rant and it certainly isn't exactly something that I do very often; I spent my Holiday season without internet for a while because the clerk forgot to type up my transfer service request but amusingly a normally 3 week process to switch could be done the very next day. So that's the plus to all of this. Besides that it's been a lot of elbow grease putting up curtains, balancing a washing machine, buying new beds, erecting my own custom made clothesline 2000 ( four pieces of wood I had out back that are screwed together and stuck like two feet into the ground with some concrete, oh and some lines attached to it ), buying lpg and running around trying to get everything right for the move.
We pretty much did though. It's taken a bit to get everything more of less back to normal and the plus is, less boxes and therefore more space to exercise again.
It's been an interesting 2021 but maybe 2022 is going to be something better. I'm looking forwards to it and I hope you all are too!
I should probably go buy a new ironing board too since the movers broke that on the journey over here... Or find some wood and drill it together..
Anyways! Still a bit more adulting to do to make things just right. A lot of change is happening. Wish you and yours all the best for 2022!
