Stream Updates; None today but future subjects

So my first week back to work after the holidays was pretty rough, so I think I'm going to opt out of streaming this weekend, at least for today. However in lieu of that I strongly recommend checking out the final day of Awesome Games Done Quick, continuing to support the Prevent Cancer Foundation, and as of this journal has raised $1.9 Million this week! Hit the link above to check them out!
That said it's time to update some potential future stream subjects, and I would love to get feedback from you guys as to what you might want to see...
1. Intellivision Lives! (GCN)
The Intellivision Amico is months away from release and it's fair to say at this point it's more notable for it's unfortunate PR rather than merit of any of it's games. That said we can examine just what was unique about the console and it's own early, fraught legal and release history.
2. Commodore 64 Showcase
A follow-up to my prior Vic20 stream and undoubtedly the most popular of the computer line, the Commodore 64 is actually a system I lack a lot of proper experience with. With recommendations from others I plan on doing a similar exploration of the computer similar to I did with the Vic20, looking at ports of popular console and arcade titles as well as those unique to the system. This is also a necessary precursor to the next stream subject...
3. Amiga 500 Mini
I have on pre-order the mini-console based on the successor of the Commodore 64 line of computers and another one I did not experience proper in its time.
4. NES ROM Hack Showcase
A look at ROM hacks of all flavors; from essential updates to classic titles to near complete original creations
5. Link To The Past Randomized; Megadrive MSU1 Soundpack
Currently the soundpack vetting is at about 80% complete, just one or two gaps to fill and a little more shuffling, but I'm honestly feeling pretty good about how it's coming together. I honestly want to complete this before my next LttPR stream, but we'll see how that pans out.
6. NeoGeo Pocket Color Selection 1
A handheld that unfortunately died on the vine but has recently gotten a new spotlight with ports to the Nintendo Switch, and with new titles still being released as recently as two days ago (SNK vs Capcom Card Fighters Clash), I expect this is a line worth looking into!
These are just some of the streams I plan to do for the new year, along with any other surprises that may come out (hopefully I can get my hands on the Taito Egrett mini arcade), but I'll still be continuing my other regular projects such as LttP Randomizers, Hamster Arcade Archive showcases, and the Virtual Console Roulette!
Speaking of the Roulette I've now added Channel Point redemptions that allow for audience participation and to give you guys greater control over what gets played on these Monday afternoon streams! Although the prices are still being adjusted the features are as follows;
500 Points - Game Control & Page Control; Modify the dice roll to change either the game on the current page or change the page used entirely (but still using the current game number)
3000 Points - Direct Game Request; This will override potential Game & Page controls and allows the redeemer to choose any game from the Virtual Console Library
Both of these rewards are on a 30 minute cool-down, so it will be first-come-first-serve, but it should prevent too many wasted point purchases. I'm still feeling this system out so I will request some patience as it get sorted.
That's about all there is for now. If there's anything you guys would like to see me try drop a comment below, I wouldn't be averse to trying some new things too. I hope to see you guys there and hope that you enjoy what I put out there!
