both parties should honestly be abolished, get rid of the two party system. let others in the presidential debates so the public has more options and can actually view the other canidates in real time. fuck the republicans and democrats. its just one big power grab at this point. theyve proven that they dont really care about their voters. thats all they see and want. votes.

Yeah, it would be nice to have no parties, but the nature of politics is that it tends to congeal people into parties.... Not sure there is any way to get around it.

Probably something like a parliamentary system, though even then there's no guarantee that radical parties won't gain control over things.

itll probably never happen cause both parties have been in control for too long, but allowing third parties into debates would be a start. most folks think there are only two options.

Ignorance Fear and Hate is now the common trifecta of all parties all across the world, because some weird wicked and strange politician came to the conclusion that people is foolish and fearful, and by keeping them like that is better and easy to control

however I still tolerate the righty parties because they are just a little less manipulative than the lefties, but now everyone is almost the same

I used to be a Republican (not since 2000) and I also voted for Reagan. Their mantra of "smaller government" while noble hasn't been reality for decades, maybe ever. Eisenhower was likely the last decent Republican president. They've convinced the bulk of their lifelong constituents that they are the party of the people, while the democrats are of the devil. The Republicans hate the poor, they hate nonwhites and they only cater to the super rich. Both parties have been affected (infected) by "Citizens United" which means money and special interests are what affect policy and no longer the well being of the American people. Citizens United needs to be abolished and the power needs to return to the people. The Republican party specifically needs to be obliterated. They have aligned themselves with the former guy, and they are irredeemable.
