I definitely recommend masks (can be overnight) with a lot of moisture. Coco and Eve has an amazing one, a lot of people use and live by shea moisture. Depending on the amount of damage aPHogee has a great repair system too. I have 2b/3a type curls and im currently in the process of going blonde..again lol. I currently live by the coco and eve line and blueberry curls

Because my hair was previously damaged, I replaced conditioning with masks. Which I do every three days or so! When I originally went...it was either when I went UV neon pink or when I went peacock green that I used the aphogee treatment which was a one time thing and helped with my curls though made my roots more course (my parents texture) so for me it was a hit and miss, I could have did it wrong or my texture was growing course lol. Coco and eve though has a mask that I literally live by LOL and they just came out with a shampoo and conditioner combo! But I really only think you need the mask. My biggest thing in conditioners are finding ones that have a ton of slip so I can detangle my curls easier. Especially wanna finger detangle for a bit after bleaching! I also hear Olaplex is amazing. On the pricey side but very solid lol, I'm hoping to get my hands on some of their line soon!

when i dyed mine bright blue all the time to prevent damage from the bleaching i just got some high quality conditioner and use that when showering. even if you skip a regular shampoo (like most folks with dye will tell you it lasts a lot longer if you dont shampoo it every single day) the conditioner can help protect your hair as well. i use cheaper suave most of the time but when i had my hair dyed blue to prevent fading, fraying and otherwise rough and gross looking damage i swapped to garnier fructis brand conditioner for dry hair.
