Back from the hospital
Just a couple updates before I laydown.
I have been in the hospital for a week for emergency surgery to remove gangrene. Not as bad as it could have been. The head surgeon was a true human being, gave me a hug when I needed it.
I am home now and with home treatment but I can walk mostly and will be a while before sitting sleeping and walking are mostly normal.
While I shouldn't be thinking about it, I know a gigantic bill is coming from my stay. That is something I will have to work on as it comes. For now, I need to eat health, take my meds and get some rest.
Side note: I really need to get some social media on my phone so its not an abrupt message out of the blue.

I hope you're able to recover from this, and are out of pain soon. o.o;;
What happened, though? How did you end up with gangrene?
It came out of no where for me and was scary.
I am diabetic with low white blood cell count(didn't know about the white cells) got an ingrown hair and that got infected.
Bad pain and glad I went to the emergency room.
Little pain with a slow recovery. Just have to take a lot of pills right now.
Thank you very much for letting me know the details. I hate to make you feel old, but you're like the grandpa of kinky art, and I don't want you to disappear! You've inspired so many people who have inspired so many people over the years, you know? You're a living legend, and I'd like to keep the living part in there. ^.^
Take care dude!!!
Be sure to watch you wounds as they heal.
My grampa got gangrene and didn't know it and had to be real careful to watch and keep everything clean!
Hugs and good vibes to you and we'll be here for you!
Sorry to hear about your grandpa, it is a type of wound that I wish on no one.
Got some good people keeping an eye on me with a ton of meds.
Fuck the bill. Pay what little you can on it each month, if the hospital wants to be shit, you can at least prove you're doing what you can.
Gangrene though, fuck me lad. Rough stuff.
Still though, healing up slowly with some good help with me.
hehe, I have so many medical bills right now from this and my stay last year. Going to apply for assistance. See if I can get some leniency.
Regarding your stay:
1) Be sure to ask for an itemized bill. You may discover duplicate charges, incorrectly coded charges, or charges for services you never received.
2) Google the hospital name and 'financial assistance policy' or 'charity care policy'.
3) Call the hospital billing department because often you can negotiate your bill down 25-50% or more.
That is some great advice. I did find duplicate in my bills from last year.
I will google that stuff, got two weeks at least of bed rest. Might as well use the time wisely.
Was good that the Diabetic control Doctor gave me all this info for a clinic that helps get you meds at a good price.
Thanks again ^_^
A GFM may be nessisary. Just have to see how all the claims and insurance is going to run. Thanks for the offer.
Please be safe sir.
Going to take care of recovery and makes some changes around here as well.
Things are coming along nicely.
