Journal comments on a specific raffle journal might be the most ideal.
That way active watchers will be those who get it rather than possibly missing out with certain people.
That and you can always cross-reference if they watch alot easier too.

Assigning numbers keeps things relatively simple on everyone’s ends. viewers just leave a comment, fave, etc, and receive a number from you and you can just roll a random number generator with a range from (1-however many participants their are)

I have done 2 raffles before, and I usually assign the top entree as Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and so on. But that is the way I usually do it nowadays (cuz I'm just sooooo into Greek letters, being a hurricane hunter [why did they have to replace it with the Auxiliary list? :C]). Most people assign entrees with numbers, and when the deadline for the raffle has come, I usually go to random.org, put the max number outcome as how many people entered the raffle, then random.org gives me a number, which will be the corresponding number to a user here. That number will win the raffle.

If you need any other help regarding raffles I have a few other friends that can help you with that!
And if you already know how to set up and complete a raffle now, then I just wasted 5 minutes of my time typing this.

Grats on the 600! I like the journal idea the best! Folks reply, get a number, that sort of thing.

That way, you can also upload raffle reminders as artwork with a link back to the raffle journal (if you choose to make reminders, that is). That also gives you some more visibility from folks who are browsing artwork.

The best and more fair way to proceed, in my opinion, is indeed a journal, where watchers are allowed to comment to enter, and then roll randomly among them.

You can restrict who can enter if you wish, (must have been watching me for X days/months), or allow new watchers to participate. This is your call.

Anyway, congratulation on the milestone, I'm certain there will be many more to come!

I've done a couple here, and Nine-Eyes pretty much nailed how to do it on discord. I make a journal, come up with a word or phrase that's the password to enter into the raffle, and then get them to comment with it in the comment section! A few notes as well, journals are typically looked at less than main posts, so if you want tonnes of entries I'd reccomend advertising your raffle through a post that you delete efter the raffle is over. Also, I accept private raffle entries through notes as well in case someone doesn't want to publically display that they're entering and always seem to get a few people who prefer that way.
