You mean commissions? I mean for the piece I had done by Kaji I think I wound up spending over $100 on it, but there ain't many artists I'd pay that amount of money. Usually I'd look for anywhere between $15-40 depending on the artist, quality of pic, etc...

Too much is about 30% or more of your weekly pay check.

oh FOR commissioning well take in how much time it'll take you to draw someones art add in your skill, then charge what ever the hell you want your making their art. Don't listen to these tools trying to get free or almost free art from artists. They are a blight and need to be shunned.

The average is about .... (all prices are usd estimate) Plus about 10 to 15 per extra character and another X amount for 18+
Sketch $25 - $30
Line art $35 - $40
Flat $45 - $55
Full color W/BG $75 to $120 for full work

just remember the more you charge the bitchier people become.

when I was commissioning bou 60 a month and it'd give me a heart attacl if I pay more than 20 on one, but I went for linearts mostly and would have gave more if the artists wasin troble and did put millions o help journals.

You can tell I stopped spell checking near the end of that lol
