With the end of the second competition, I'm ready to announce the winners! Just like last year, there was a wealth of excellent additions, and I would like to congratulate each and every one of you that entered. This was not an easy choice to make by a long stretch, with little but personal preference separating the top contenders, but in the end, these are our three winners!

3rd Place: Vairos, with this chapter (https://chyoa.com/chapter/Texas-strikes-first%21-Lunge-for-the-mook%21-%28End%29.1083085) a rather unique and somewhat dark ending for the sheriff, which Vairos nonetheless managed to play off with a comical air at the end, and some rather foul air for Texas! A very humiliating, nasty end for the weasel.

2nd Place: FlattenedFan, for this chapter (https://chyoa.com/chapter/%5BEnd%5D-Texas-fails-to-overpower-Sniff.1082033) Honestly I'd very much recommend going back a page or two and reading the sequence from the start, because it contains some very fun taunting and an almost peril-like setup of Texas failing to escape in time. But as the judging criteria is for only one chapter it has to be this one, for its delicious squishing, delightful dialogue, and inventive use of 'Pop Goes The Weasel'.

1st Place: TopHatHorse, with their splendid addition (https://chyoa.com/chapter/Let-it-ride%21-%28END%29.1082347). Their whole storyline has a great premise behind it, (though I must warn you that the bad ends get *VERY* adult after that point), but with butt-slams from Jesse and Jane and Butterscotch, and a unique, supremely cartoony ending for the sheriff, this one definitely takes the cake. And with it, first place!

I'll be getting in contact with them soon to discuss their prizes, and for those of you who missed out this time, don't worry, I definitely plan to hold more of these in future! Thank you so much to everyone who participated and helped to expand the Texas interactive, as well as expand the myriad ways that Texas has been crushed, gassed, dominated and humiliated! This has been an excellent competition this year, and a strong benchmark for those to come!
