Another January word count
The month of January was a particularly productive one for me, with 'Walk before you trot' weighing in at 5101 words, and 'At the sign of the Prancing Kitty' having reached a total of 5289 words. This later number includes ~250 words of plot point bullets and content requiring a rewrite.
This productivity was aided by some time off from the day job at the start of the month, though said day job has gotten rather hectic as the month has come to a conclusion. While I tend to be fairly bad at estimating how long it will take to write any given story or how long it will be, I'm suspecting Prancing Kitty could end up on the order of 10k words. I'm hoping it'll be done by end of month, but the actual timing could be anyone's guess. Sometimes a plot bullet point turns into a paragraph. Other times, it can fill multiple pages.
Instead of Prancing Kitty, I had wanted to return to working on my Camp Leaning Trees storyline (inspired in part by the e-book Cookies and Campers), but my muse had other plans.
