Maybe. Probably not. Nothing's new under the sun. I don't like talking to myself. I'm always amazed when other people want to. But I like interesting people who do interesting things.

To be fair, you did go pretty hard on some of it.

It's funny though, of all the "notorious" creators from that fandom, you seemingly turned out fairly ordinary and not insane, which is more than can said for a lot of them.

to be double fair, some of my going hard on it was a result of being a lot worse off mentally than i am these days

but yeah i think i have done well compared to some other disasters. helps that the pony fandom was kind of just a few years' dalliance and i've been on the internet in various forms since like 97?? and for a lot of them this was their first real rodeo

It's a strange feeling though to be sure. A decade ago it was all about creating better and better online spaces, easier to use, cool new features, community everywhere. Maybe even a better and better world. Now in the ashes, maybe this is how we exist, like weeds in the cracks wherever we can find a place. Not elegant or comfortable, but not going away.
