Yooo I got Covid!

Kind of a follow up to the last journal. Fever was still going strong last night, but I had a huge craving for Chinese food. So got some delivered but when I took my first bites of the deliciousness, I could taste nothing!
That's when I did a huge sigh and prepared to make a call the next morning. Made my appointment, got my take home test, took it, and low and behold I got those two red lines that tell you what you probably already knew. I was covid positive.
Now I'm not sure which version I have, hell I could be subject zero for a new strain! But what I do know is I'm one of the lucky ones that's not in the hospital. So I lucked out on that. And my condition seems to be staying where it is for now. But still keeping my fingers crossed it stays that way.
So right now I'm just taking care of myself the only way you can when sick and stuck at home. So all of you out there, keep staying safe and do what you can to help prevent it.
Daddy cat says, stay safe and take care. <3

Hope you get well from it!
I guess you could say it's an easier form since I'm not in the hospital. *shrugs*
Thank you little bun. :3
You know this already, but.. stay hydrated, rest plenty; and stick to soft foods, both to make it easier with the taste issues and to coat your stomach, to reduce any potential nausea. Hopefully, this'll be it. Although only a small percentage of cases, long-term side effects of Covid-19 are horrendous, so please do not hesitate to get professional aid if your symptoms persist too long or get worse.
Good luck! Get well soon!
