For many years now I have been doing just that, wishing my close friends and people I care for a Happy Valentines Day, because family and friendships are still considered a form of love that should be celebrated to me. I just wish more people could see it that way instead of wallowing in the negative mindset of concentrating on "What they don't have" in their life.

The holidays will not change what they mean unless enough people within our society decides to adopt this kind of mindset. What better way to handle the saddest time of the holidays then to take it back into your own hands and look at it like "Who do I have in my life and how much do they mean to me?"
