Hi all. I won't be original if I say that, yes, this is again a post about the situation in my country... I live in Russia, but my mother is ukrainian and my father is russian and has lived in Kiev for 27 years... Since recently he is now also disabled. My grandmother, sisters and nephews live all over Ukraine. I realize with horror that I may not see them (not because of the war, but because of restrictions) and I HAVE NOT SEEN them for more than 3 years, although I used to be stuck in Kiev for 3 months a year every year of my life. This is my second home
But you know what scared me the most? Not fear for my relatives, not sanctions and a screwed up president... but the fact that we were treated like some kind of demons? Are you serious? I don't give a fuck about this war, none of us support it. Art has no nationality, I am horrified that my friends are losing their official jobs because they are russian. If you are trying to punish civilians for the government's shenanigans, you are no better than this same government that has been strangling us for years.
We are all frightened by these events, but even more by their consequences.

Its happening in China right now. Government employees like teachers and city workers are being forced to return bonuses and many havent been payed for months as the provincial and central government refuses to aid county's struggling from the ongoing economic decoupling with their own massive horde's of money.
