I am very far from politics - I have always despised my state and was not happy with what is happening. I am a small and insignificant person who can influence little. Now I am terribly frightened by what is happening, I do not understand why all this is happening and what it will turn into. I am alarmed that everyone is turning away from our country because of this conflict, and because of the actions of our government, we, the people who did not want war, will suffer. Now I and many others are trying to do at least something - reposts, petitions, rallies and "no war" actions. But I don't know if it will give any result. Our country does not hear us, our government does not respect us and our opinion.
I'm afraid of losing touch with you, my foreign audience, because now I see a lot of news, how country after country turns away from us, imposes sanctions, imposes restrictions. It all looks like Russia will once again be behind the Iron Curtain. I really don't want it and I'm afraid. I made a backup telegram channel in case something like this really happens. I don't know what to expect and if it will help.
To my colleagues and ordinary people from Ukraine - hold on. We are with you in spirit. And we didn't want that.
I am ashamed that I am a citizen of Russia.
