Convo Starter Journal #3 - Thy What Shall Not Be Mentioned

HURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Zup Ya'll. I have been UBER busy with my school work, and getting college apps done, so I'm sorry if ya'll have wanted to talk (yeah right... :3), but then again, that's what these journals are for!
SO, about two weekends ago, some major shit boiled over at my house, and basically, My mom confronted me (on a number of things, but staying on topic...) on being furry. She found some antlers, a tail, and some graphic drawings done by my mate

I tried to be rational and explain the extent of my involvement in the fandom, but alas, she scoffed at it, and now thinks I have sex whilst wearing my tail :3 Whatever gets you off mom, lmao.
ANYWAY, My question to you! Have you told anyone (Family, friends, etc.) that you are a furry? What was their reaction? Any bad/good experiences?

I told my mom a hundred times, and even though she watches tons of tyra and csi she has no clue what one is.
So she doesnt care. I just explained it to my little brother and sister as people who like to draw animal people kinda like biker mice from mars (which they watch all the time)

Now that was back in April, and since then she hasn't even mentioned the word. I'm pretty sure she just saw like me getting caught looking at porn, and thats all it was. So she has this dormant, tainted view of it all.
Though I am going as a deer for halloween and she hasn't said a thing about it.
