A few weeks ago the new furry MUMORPERGER Earth Eternal went to open beta, and I tried it out tonight. Two hours of game time was enough for me. Its ceratinly a simple MMO, four classes to choose from. There are 22 different races, but some may be disappointed in the lack of some, like dragons or certain felines. The races do not have different stats either, so its more of choosing what color t shirt to wear instead of species to play.

Gameplay was a WoW clone, but what isn't nowadays? But it really shows right now they have some things to work on. The game tends to pop up a loading screen every few seconds, or in high action. I died from a loading screen mid-combat, not fun, Earth Eternal. There was also a graphical skip where your character would for some reason warp ten feet behind your last position when you ran every now and again, making you feel like you were on a treadmill.

Quests seemed simple enough, and the radar helped. Final thoughts?

If you want to be cheap and play WoW for free, this is as close to the real thing you will get. If you want to play WoW as your fursona, try it out. Don't hold your breath though.
