My tablet is doing weird shit

Last couple of days my pen tablet started doing this annoying thing where it can't draw a flat line. It's like I had bad pulse but I used a ruler over the tablet so I know it's not my actual pulse. I'm not sure what to do, I want to change my pen nib before deciding to purchase a new pen, because they're super expensive and it *might* be the pen nib. But the nibs are at my place and I won't be there until the 19th of March. (Also I'm so tired of not having my own space I just want to go home, I've been out since December trying to fix some important documents but they make it SO hard for us immigrants to have everything in order...).
I won't update most comms until I have this sorted out, since I can't draw lineart at all. Coloring isn't so obvious so I might update some of them tho.
Anyways I'm tired of purchasing a new pen every year, this tablet is just super annoying and I just want a new one. A GOOD one. Do yall think an iPad would be a good purchase? I saw some second-hand ones for 650€ :/ Pls advise me on this one!!
//Also please if you're not ok with waiting for your commission, ask for a refund. I might accept and just clean my queue a little.

I use pc and iPad and I can say i prefer pc because I do not like procreate and use csp. Csp on iPad is a monthly payment versus the flat 50$ for pc. Monthly can be 7$-10$ roughly depending on which you choose. Procreate is 10$ flat and is a good program however if you're used to customizing your brushes or using stuff like photoshop/csp/sai you may struggle with the learning curve. I still dislike being unable to customize the brushes as much as I can with csp.
I do like the feel of the apple pencil more for sketching so I do sketching on iPad and the rest on pc now, as I use iPad primarily for writing. I did have to buy several pen holders as the small thin pencil gave me wrist cramps and they were all 10$ a pack. These are things to consider when purchasing as I don't think people realize that sometimes the accessories are more expensive, as I bought 2 cases and am looking for a 3rd as all three would allow for vastly different set ups for writing, travel drawing, and drawing in a more ergonomic position for long times.
I know this comment is long, sorry for that. There's a lot of things to consider when moving between the two! I personally love the wacom intuos pro because it has tilt function (regular intuos doesnt) and I have yet to need to replace the pen at all and I've had it for a few years. I've found some second hand for less that 300$ (normally they're 500$) on sites like eBay and mercari.
I hope this helps <3
I work with a huion tablet and a laptop, one of the main reasons I’d swith to an iPad is because I travel constantly and carrying my laptop and tablet around in my 1-bag-flights has been a nightmare. Specially when I want to start a 6-month trip around LATAM next january, I think an iPad is the only choice I have to keep working. 🤔
On the other hand the main reason I don’t want to switch is bc I use sai and as you said having to learn a new program might be a long and tedious ride. 😓 Even tho sai is a very simple program unlike csp and ps. And yes the accesories are SO expensive….
I'm glad I could help! The huion brand just isn't as durable as wacom, which if you're careful is fine. Tbh I love sai and used to use it religiously until I got gifted csp XD I also had just a cracked version of sai so I was forced to use csp cause it didn't work with the new pc I had at the time
