One of the main goals of this "special operation", which is covered in the Russian media, is the denazification of Ukraine. That is, the liberation of the country from radical Nazis! No, I am saying that there's no justification - good or bad - to kill **civilians**. There is the perceived requirement to do so because it is the last resort. And that's the problem with literally every international conflict: the nations set whatever "goals" that are used as the justification for their actions - which again, doesn't mean said actions were right, no matter the cause. Was it needed to stop Nazi Germany? Unfortunately, yes. Does that mean it's justified, therefore "acceptable" that millions of innocent people were killed because of it? No.

And mind you, what's going on in Ukraine - what Russia and the NATO are doing - are exactly the same thing US has been bombing Somalia, like the Saudis have been bombing Yemen, like Israel bombing Syria (all of these happened this past week or two, **all of these events** being conveniently ignored, because these same countries are condemning the Russians for doing the exact same (and again I reiterate: what Russia is doing is wrong, but the US and NATO as a whole are a bunch of dickheads for trying to claim they have moral grounds, when they don't.

Now tell me: what's the "justifying" to be done for Israel, USA and Saudi Arabia then? As far as I am concerned, they're just as much of war criminals as Russia is, and pretending that these are different situations is naïvety at best or ignorance at worst.

I am all for condemning Russia and fighting them - what I am not going to stand for is the hypocrisy of a group of people accusing someone of being a bully while they themselves are also currently practicing the things they so vehemently condemn.

I have lost friends to these shit excursions into other countries under the pretense of "they''re all this and that" when the real goal was for a select few to gain control of those countries' natural resources. "Unavoidable." to an extent, unfortunately, yes. But the "justifiable" part is what I think is wrong. No matter what, no murder is justified. That's the point I want to get across.
