Just to double check, your using the main password and not pool passwords correct? (Pool passords just make it more likley to see people with the same passwords sighns, as the open areas have alot more sighns it could be the reason your not seeing them there) also it depends on the platform, I believe PC is having summoning issues in due to the anticheat messing with network connectivity, so it may be something on the network side. Unfortunately I haven't ran into this issue myself (on ps5, but it has a few glitches too) I hope you can get it sorted out though! Also apperently the network maitnence they had yesterday I've heard has made seeing and using summon signs more iffy, there's a lot of popup posts in redit about it. Hope it starts working for you!

yeah. we use the main one, not group since its just me and him. we did some bosss and dungeons togetehr since he accidentally deleted his first one he played with me when he tested many other classes, but when we did dungeons, we saw signs perfectly. we did two field bosses before break for him, saw my signs perfectly. we were heading to one field boss before ending for the day around 10.25pm our time, then suddenly we did not see our marks. when i tried some spot summon him i never saw his mark on ground. so i am feeling worried that is there some bug on it, or server problems or as third choices, does the open world area also have restrictions to summoning in certain graces after you defeated bosses. though one should have worked since he hasnt done that one field boss there but he did not see my sign. we will though try tomorrow and see is it cause of the servers are full and just crowded or something else in it as problem. we know when you add password, the level restriction, weapon level things and such are removed and the other played scales down to that hosts level. and we play on ps5. and i think i did see something about the summoning being fickle. but i truly hope it gets fixed soon. i had wanted to play it for long time with friends.

idk anything about that for i had not played it. :( that would have to be looked in to on the forums or other place.

some say its cause of some field boss when you defeat it that it locks off that open world area from coop or that one boss bugs up the summoning.

that is possible sir. but yeah that and other issues is why the game is getting mixed reviews over all though give it time that will show up.

Its actually gotten only positive things. Though i guess after all these things, players opinions had changed.

of course, in every way shape and form i never got into the dark souls' series nor Elden ring so there is that bit. ^^;

its also extremely hard game. ^^;

I know dark souls levels of hard.
