I am still alive but dead inside
Hello, my friends!
As you probably know I live in Ukraine.
Right now I am abroad. It was my 30th birthday on the 26th of February, and my husband gave me a present - romantic trip to Barcelona. And then all this shit began.
At the moment my 2 year old daughter Alice and my parents, as well as my husband's family are trapped in Kharkiv, Ukraine. The city has been shelled for several days, they cannot leave it. I can't enter the city for the same reasons. I really hope that the situation will be resolved soon... My city is so beautiful, and people don't deserve to be treated like this! It's kind of surreal! In the 21st century, shelling the city center, the civilian population!
And I am powerless to change this situation and even pull my relatives out of this hell...

I hope that your family makes it through okay. You and Ukraine deserve so much better.
My mother and daughter managed to escape from Kharkiv and I hope they will be safe on their way to Europe...
I still can't believe all this shit happening! Like a terrific nightmare you can't awake from.
But reading fromt he last comment, I am glad to hear some of your family managed to escape this place. All fingers crossed that the rest of your family will safely escape too and make their way to Poland or another place to give them shelter.
