conventions are back on!! i mean, they kind of started last year and we did go to mcm birmingham but i haven't been active on here in a long time. i've got my holiday time booked and i've planned to go to a couple of conventions this year after i was super-lucky and go tto go to scotiacon last minute.
i've decided to take a year out from confuzzled and go back to may mcm in london for the first time in years. truthfully i'm kind of wondering if i've done the right thing, because i've been to confuzzled yearly since 2015 and so many of my friends who i really miss go... but i'm sure it'll be lots of fun and having the chance to cosplay for the first time in years will be really nice. there's also a convention called acme comic con on this weekend in glasgow, it's a replacement for every comic/anime convention in scotland, and that'll be something to go to. truthfully i think it's a bit of a weird idea to mesh every scottish convention into one, in the one place, once a year but i guess that's how they're going to do it.
i'll also be at animangapop glasgow, mcm london october and mcm birmingham to help my husband with his stalls. he's about to finish uni and just did his first pin kickstarter which was really successful so they'll be working weekends rather than a holiday.
i also might be going to hyperjapan for a day in the summer but we'll see when we get to that one because i actually have to get there first.
anyway yeah! 2022 is turning out to be a bit rubbish already but here's some nice things. if you want to hang out then the answer is yes, i would love to.
