Interesting Happenings... UPDATE!!

H'OKAY!! Gather around the firepit for the latest news.
As I sit here on the road to recovery, it was mentioned in the last journal, an unknown mass was discovered on the right kidney while looking for kidney stones in the left had been removed, the area cleansed and sterilized of sappers and guerrilla fighters (a second opinion confirmed the first) leaving me with 1.95 kidneys.
Met with the doctor Tuesday and it was confirmed the mass was cancer... *brief pause* specifically a Clear cell, Renal cell Carcinoma. The web can tell you more about it. The doc did say they were running into this more common type more and more. Needless to say, mine was on the small side and contained. Had it been in the middle of said organ then the whole thing would've had to go so knock-on wood. And on another note, if I didn't get the kidney stone, I never would've found out about the cancer tho it doesn't mean I'll let the lil buggers stay. No-no. It just means I'll have to be more on the alert for other small changes.

But still, at least they caught it early and cleanly. Dude, good thing Kidney Stone Six did their thing!

I, too, am glad it was detected this early so damage was very minimal.
So...yeah....resting and healing while counting my blessings.
