Hey, I hope this finds you well.

I wish I was doing better, I really do! I just got married and it was wonderful, my friends and family were wonderful, but my trip had to be changed
towards the end because my health took a turn and I've been very lastingly sick all week.

And unfortunately, my dog's health also took a turn. We had to have her put down.

It still doesn't feel real.

On one hand, she was an old gal, my first dog. I've known her longer than I've known my husband, I've lived more days on this Earth with her than without her. I thought I was prepared for this inevitability. But I wasn't, it hits me in waves and just crushes the breath from my lungs when it does.

I wanted to get right back to work after my wedding, but I might need a little bit more time to get back to the grind.
