I've been back in Memphis for about a week now. It was crazy going from Ft Myers, Florida where it was about 80F and sunny to Memphis, TN where it was on the verge of a mild ice storm. I've been getting stuff together in the house that I'll be hauling on a trailer back to South Carolina. Nash stayed back in Florida to work a couple of small fairs. He'll be back in Myrtle Beach in a couple of weeks, and I should be able to get back down there by then. The air brush trailer will be done shortly after my return.
I'll miss everyone in Memphis, but such is life. It's tough being in my old house. The ghost of Draconis haunts my thoughts still and it is depressing to think about it. I cannot look at a flamingo or a lawn chair without having an involuntary "Draconis will like this" moment, then I realize he is no longer here. Anyway... I'll close this journal and get back to packing stuff, tired as I am. Everyone be safe and I'll talk to y'all later.
